Elastic and compression bandages: Elastomedic, Premium and tubular net explained

Le Roy Elastomedic and Premium elastic bandages

Le Roy made Mexico's first elastic bandage in 1937, and the compression category remains one of the most-imported wound-care lines. "Elastic bandage" covers several distinct products — here is how to specify them for wholesale.

High-compression vs support bandages

The Elastomedic range is a high-compression bandage for orthopedic and post-operative use, where firm, sustained pressure matters. The Premium elastic range provides lighter everyday support for sprains and strapping. They are different products at different price points — specify which you need.

Choosing widths

  • 5–7.5 cm — fingers, wrists and small joints.
  • 10–15 cm — ankles, knees and elbows (highest-volume widths).
  • 20–30 cm — thighs and torso.

A complete distribution range carries the full ladder; Le Roy makes 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 cm.

Tubular net (mesh) bandages and calibers

Tubular net bandages retain dressings without tape and are sized by caliber (1–8): caliber 1 suits fingers, rising to caliber 8 for the trunk. They come in 2 m, 20 m and 100 m lengths — the 100 m rolls are the economical choice for hospitals that cut to need.
